Mr. Surya
Senior Language Educator & Curriculum Development Specialist
Mr. Surya is a highly experienced educator with a career spanning over 20 years in the education sector. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Bung Hatta University, his background encompasses English and Indonesian language teaching, academic administration, curriculum development, teacher training, and school management. In the classroom, Mr. Surya specializes in the Cambridge Curriculum and provides comprehensive, practical guidance in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and exam preparation. He also brings his extensive pedagogical expertise to our Indonesian (BIPA) programs, helping students build confidence and reach their communication goals across multiple languages.
Mr. Tio
Language Educator & Academic Program Manager
Nurtamin draws on 14 years of dedicated English teaching experience, specializing in IELTS preparation, General English, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). He holds a Master of Linguistics Studies from Hasanuddin University and a Bachelor of English Language and Literature from UIN Malang. An accomplished academic, Nurtamin holds an IELTS Band 7.0 and is a recognized LPDP RI Awardee with a strong background in national debate competitions as a champion, best speaker, and chief adjudicator. At GLC, he also leverages his expertise in academic writing, critical reading, and curriculum design to evaluate and ensure the highest quality of student learning.
Ms. Angel
English, Chinese & Korean Language Educator
Angelina is a versatile language educator who teaches English, Chinese, and Korean. Currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Dentistry at Udayana University, she brings a dynamic approach to teaching students aged 6 to 28 in both private and small-group settings. Beyond her active teaching role, Angelina is highly skilled in designing engaging, customized Chinese learning materials specifically tailored to the needs of junior and teen-level students, ensuring classes are both enjoyable and effective.
